Reading is...OK

Reading is the most effective way to improve your vocabulary. It is a time tested method by which you can go from an average vocabulary to a higher level. But the problem with reading is that it takes time. It is a laborious task to go from book to dictionary to book every time you don't understand a word. These pauses will not only break the concentration of the reader but also create a disinterest in the text.

Imagine this you are riding the subway and reading a magazine and you come across a word you have never seen before. You don't have a dictionary and you promise yourself to look it up later. Your reach your destination and forget to do so, some of us that do remember end up forgetting the word itself. We stumble across the word a few days or months later and we make a note to look it up, only to forget again. And the cycle continues. With the advent of smart phones this can be overcome, but not everyone can afford smart phones and the Dictionary apps that come along with them.

Those of us that want to increase GRE score or increase SAT scores cannot afford to wait for the long term effects of reading. We should have been reading higher vocabulary material from a very young age to arrive at the point where we would be equipped with all the words on the GRE/SAT recommended lists. But this is not the case. Those with a reading habit would be better poised to score well on this exam, but what about those who have never inculcated the reading habit? There is a solution now. We call it DictionUP. It a quick and easy way to improve from average vocabulary to a higher level vocabulary.

DictionUP is an audio tool that will help you memorize and recall words quickly. There are about a 1000 words on this tool, those that really matter. DictionUP is comprised of 18 tracks that are between 15-18 minutes long. Shuffle these tracks on your music player as you go about doing your daily chores, or on your drive to work and repeat these tracks regularly. Within a month you will notice a considerable improvement in your vocabulary.

Reading will expose you to a variety of topics not only making you knowledgeable but also equip you with the tools necessary to succeed. While there is no denying that reading is an effective method, there are newer methods out there that are just as effective but require lesser energy. We recommend that you try this. It is inexpensive and easy to download.
